Fog honestly has not felt this foreign for a long time. I just parked my car, unloaded the remnants of this weekend, made myself a parfait from the freshly picked strawberries I drove down, and am now here to upload these wholly unedited photos from the last two weekends. The first weekend was picnic day and you can see a video I made of it here. The second weekend was for pure enjoyment: friends, food, and the weather. There's just something about the lifestyle there that's so different from San Francisco's even though it's only an hour and a half away. A taste of the "college lifestyle" without the work is full of fun and not-always-healthy food, hence the parfait being the first thing I ate when I arrived home. Covered in fog and almost pushed over by the wind, I already miss this morning's warmth and the weekend's joy. At least I have 3 pounds of strawberries as memories right?

Part Two
Break felt like forever ago but then again, I just took a mini road trip to Davis this weekend. I'm always trying to fit a side trip in my school schedule just to get away. I love being by the country side and away from the buzzing city sometimes. Anyways, farmlands this past weekend was an absolute dream. Hope you all are well.

Griffith Observatory
UO Dress & Shorts, Lacoste Sneakers
Part 2 of my spring break consisted of a few days in LA because why not? I feel like it's a thing for practically everyone at my school to go to LA for spring break so I pretty much jumped on that bus as well. If you don't know, I go hiking practically everywhere I go so of course, this trip was no exception. We walked up to Griffith Observatory and continued hiking up the trails to a gorgeous view of the city. Now that it's been a few weeks since this trip, I miss LA and the live LA Snapchat stories DO NOT help. But if you want to keep up with me, my Snapchat is sarinaho because I get really creative sometimes.

Big Sur
For the first few days of spring break, a group of friends and I headed to Big Sur's Limekiln State Park for some camping and hiking. Our campsite was just a few steps away from the beach (hence the numerous photos at various times of the day) and a half mile hike from two waterfalls.
On the first day, we hiked two half mile hikes by our campsite and even attempted to do a night hike which got too creepy too fast. We opted out and agreed that s'mores by the campfire sounded more pleasant. The next day, we drove a few miles down to hike Cone Peak. What was supposed to be a 5 mile hike turned into a 17 mile hike due to road closures. We eventually got to the top to a breathtaking view of the mountains and ocean. Exhausted, we went back to our campsite to cook dinner and once again, ended the night with s'mores. Up until this camping trip, I haven't gone for a few years and this short getaway reignited my love for camping. I actually feel like I have camping withdrawals and can't wait for this school year to end so I can go again. To the desert next!
