In the Wild

I may be a bit late since summer break has technically started already but I still have time to get back into fitness before summer actually starts right? With the intensity of the school year coming to an end, I feel that I have more time to focus on getting back into shape and eating healthier. For me, I definitely prefer going for hikes over a gym. I just love the smell of the outdoors and seeing nature. Anyone with me? As for eating healthier, I just had a donut yesterday so we all know I'm well on my way towards my goal of healthy eating.

Feels

I've never really shared about my school life but I feel that in my current position, it is time. This past semester has been, to say the least, a struggle. I would've never imagined not passing a class in college being the straight A's and B's student I always was...before college. But that's exactly what happened. When it first happened, I wanted to withdraw from everything. I didn't feel that there was a place for me. As what it feels like weeks went by (I actually think it's only been a week but I really don't want to look back on exactly how long it's been), I feel like I'm practically recovered. Practically.

How? I'd say the most important factor this time around were my friends. When times get this rough, you really find out who's there for you and I guess also who's not. Second: time. It takes time to get over something that really impacts you and your life. As time progresses, you learn to accept what happened and move on. A short road trip. I feel that every time I travel somewhere, anywhere, I come back a new person with the experiences from that place. For me, every time I go to LA I feel inspired. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I love the feeling of a new surge of energy. It made me want to share something I wanted to hide in the darkest corners. With that, I hope this can help anyone of you feeling like you're at a low in life. I rarely have this much to say, so thanks for reading.
