Even though it was winter when I was in Bangkok, the weather was still in the 80s which is really hot for someone from the Bay Area. In certain temples, it is required that you are covered up so I ended up in these overalls in the scorching heat. I am usually the kind of person who can't stand to wear a pair of jeans even in slightly warmer weather so this was a big step for me. When I changed into them, I literally thought I was going to melt during the day. To my surprise, I was able to get through the day due to the holes and the loose fitting style of these overalls.
Silk Shirt from Hong Kong, Cheap Monday Jeans, Topshop Boots
I have finally found time to post these photos from my trip to Hong Kong and am so excited to share them! You may be wondering who Stanley is. Stanley is located at the southernmost tip of Hong Kong Island which means it is right by the water and therefore, has an absolutely gorgeous waterfront view. It reminded me of Venice Beach in LA, without all the shops and craziness of course. Perhaps because it was lined with restaurants that weren't serving Chinese food.
The latter two photos were taken in the Murray House. This building was stunning having been built in the 1800's and the style is so classic. I couldn't help but take a few photos by this stairwell!
