I bought this hat ages ago and just recently decided to wear it. If you've seen my recent posts, you'd know I practically sleep with it on. Now that it's fall, I can't wait to shop for a hat that suits the season! 

Late Summer

Calypso St. Barth Top, Gap Jeans, Urban Outfitters Sandals

A way I enjoy to soak up the last bit of summer sun is with a walk in the park. A picnic in the park is nice as well! I wanted to add a girly kick to this black and white outfit by wearing my sandals in the lightest shade of pink. I don't wear pink often, so when I do, it's usually subtle. I think this is a good way to ease into pinks or any color if you're not used to wearing them yet!

Woodsy

DIY Headband, Urban Outfitters Dress and Sandals

We took an afternoon trip to Heritage Grove Redwood Preserve, which was full of redwoods as you'd guess. It was pretty warm but the shade from the trees made it just perfect. It was fun walking around in this cream dress and surprisingly my sandals as well! Hope everyone had a good weekend!

These photos bring me back to carefree summer days spent brunching, kayaking, hiking, and just wandering in Santa Barbara. But for now, San Francisco's surprisingly sunny days will have to do.

To avoid a visual overload, I decided to split my Santa Barbara trip into 2 posts. On our road trip to Santa Barbara, we decided to take a pit stop at Solvang, a small Danish town with amazing architecture. If you didn't know, I recently started to have a thing for quaint buildings, which this town was in no way lacking. We explored this village a bit and ended our day driving into the sunset to our destination.

Back to School

Target Jacket, H&M Top, Gap Jeans, BDG Boots

Here is a typical school outfit for me: a shirt, jeans, jacket, and boots. I went with a striped long sleeve since it is simple yet a staple piece in my closet. Black skinnies go with practically anything so when in doubt, I go for a rich, dark high-rise pair. I recently purchased these since my Second Skin Cheap Monday jeans have faded to a dark gray after many years. They have always been my favorite but since they're being replaced by these comfortable Gap ones, I might add a few rips in them for a more worn look. Anyways, a green military jacket is always good to toss on as an additional layer and I finished the look with my hiking boots.
